Celeste Taylor Louie

For those of you concerned about Celeste and her new baby Ethen, my mom talked to Mrs. Cathy this morning and got the last update. I did not know how to post it on Facebook, so I thought this would be the easiest way! Please keep them in your prayers. I thought she was doing fine, then got a text from Jason that turned things around! Here is the email my mom sent after talking to her this morning.

Please leave any comments and I will be sure she gets them WHEN she DOEST get better!!!

The email follows:

I have just talked to Cathy. Here is the latest update on Celeste:

Celeste had the baby on Thursday morning by C-section. The baby weighed 4 lbs and 14 oz and they say that he has too much blood so they had him in a neo-natal unit but he is doing fine now and eating very well. On Saturday night Celeste started running a high fever and was oozing through her staples. The nurses kept close watch and on Sunday morning, they had to take her back in the OR for exploratory surgery. They found out that her small intestines was leaking and was poisoning her body. The doctor said that she had the most scar tissue from the surgery two years ago that he had seen in 25 years of practice. The scar tissue on her uterus had attached to her small intestines. They had a hard time delivering Ethan and one they detached the uterus from her small intestines, it left small pin holes and that is where the waste was coming from that was going in her body. They have removed that part of her intestines and left the wound opened. They have Celeste in a drug induced comma. They are going back in at 12:00 today (2:00, our time) and see if the infection is cleared up and that they got all of the scar tissue and no new scar tissue is forming. If everything looks good, they will close her up and bring her out of the comma. Everyone needs to say a prayer for Celeste and her family. Cathy doesn't sound good at all. She is having a hard time but Celeste's vital signs are very good. Hopefully, everything is much better and they will be able to close her up.

Thank you to all who is praying...
