Many Blessings and Resolutions!

Well, another Christmas has come and gone. Why does Christmas do that more and more each year? Christmas was FOREVER away when I was little. Now, it speeds by too quickly!

I had lots of pics I wanted to upload, but I have tried 3 different times (3 different days) and for some reason, I cannot upload them!

As usual, I had a wonderful Christmas. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family. Christmas has always been a special time for me. My mom does a wonderful job of providing for my sister and I (and now Blair). As I get older, however, I feel like I worry too much about those that are not as blessed as we are. There are stories that just break my heart, but they remind me how lucky I really am.

For Christmas this year my 'big' gift was the flash for my camera! I am very excited about this and cannot wait to capture even better photographs! I also got vent visors for my Pilot; Rachel Ray dishes ( the ones she uses on her show that have handles!!!); Paula Deen wooden utensils; clothes and jewelry and decorations, etc. Again, I am way too blessed!

Blair got new Sperry's and a bible from me; clothes, money and gift cards, etc. Poor Blair has been pretty sick this month. He was finally diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic Syncopy. We took him to Pitt where they finally diagnosed him. Then, the meds they put him on were too high, so he was a zombie for several days and his heart rate was really low. We think we have things figured out and are now waiting for the medicines to do their job.

The 29th was our 2 year anniversary! We were going to Rucker Johns, but decided last minute to go to Ribeyes. I am thankful we did this because just as soon as we got in the resturant, he had another 'episode' where he almost fainted, so we got our food to go and came back home. He was very upset because our first anniversary, he was sick with the stomach flu. Now, this anniversary he is sick with these syncopal episodes. I hope this is not a sign! :) I told him not to worry because our wedding day/honeymoon was perfect!! I so wish we were back in Cancun right now. We would LOVE to go back and we probably won't stay at the Royal again (that was probably a ONE time thing!!) but anywhere would be fine with me!

Also, the new year came and went! We had our annual get together at my mom's with good food and fellowship. I hope 2010 is a great year for everyone. It is hard to believe another decade has come and gone!

Monday is back to the grind. I missed the last 3 days before break (we were in Pitt hospital) so I have to get back to the swing of things before the EOC's!!

My new years resolutions:

1st: Be a better Christian. I want to spend more time with God. He has blessed me and my family beyond measure.

2nd: Save money. Learn how to plan and cook meals at home.

3rd: Continue with my weight watchers weight loss and exercise. I have lost 20 lbs (before Christmas!) so I hope to continue that and to walk more consistently.

4th: Last, but not least: Be a better wife, daughter, sister and friend. Blair will probably say amen to this one! :)

I pray everyone has a great 2010!

Again, sorry about no pictures, but I have had some of this post written for over a week, but the pics are not cooperating with me, so I am just posting without pics. Hopefully, I will get this figured out!
