12 weeks!!

Tomorrow I will be 12 weeks!  It feels like time is not going by very fast, but I had a heart stoping moment earlier this week:  If they take the babies at 36 weeks, then we have 6 months to prepare!!  That sounds like soooo little time!

My pregnancy update on my phone says the babies are the size of limes!  That seems really big to not feel ANYTHING.  If the pregnancy test and U/S didn't show us we were pregnant, I would think I wasn't because I really have felt NO different!  Thank GOD!

One morning last week I got sick.  It was weird though...It wasn't nausea or anything.  I just started gagging on something (not sure what, but I had a sore throat, so that must have been it) and then I finally just got sick SEVERAL times.  Other than that, nothing.

My only problem is food.  Nothing appeals to me.  I know I am not eating enough so I need to work a lot harder on this to be sure I am getting enough of the right foods.  Fruit is still good to me, but the smell of some foods cooking makes me nauseaus.  For example, Blair cooked turkey bacon the other morning and it was not appealing to me then.  Well, later that night when we came home, OMG..the smell almost made me get sick...He had to go through the house and spray air freshener before I had to leave the house! ha!  Anyway, here are some pregnancy highlights so far:

How Far Along: 12 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Dubs are the size of a lime

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 8 lbs
Maternity Clothes: Not yet...

Gender: Not sure!  Their heart rates were 180, 178 so I have a feeling they are the same gender, but they say that is a myth..

Movement: Not yet

Sleep: Horrible...I wake up at least 2 times a night to go to the bathroom and Bella in the bed is becoming a problem...For some reason, she wants to be UNDER me all night and it is causing me to wake up more than it ever has...

What I miss: Pepsi

Cravings: Cheeseburgers and Sushi (the Tempura rolls, so they are cooked)

Symptons: Just some food adversions

Best Moment this week: A student giving me some twin books, buying some baby stuff from a friends a GREAT deal on a Rocker Glider which is very exciting!  With 2 babies, we will have to be super money conscious!!
Well, I think that is all for me now.  We go back to the doctor Sept 22nd.  I am not counting on knowing the sex at that appointment because I will only be 14 weeks, but you never know!
Lastly, I want to leave you with one thought.  Our preacher preached on this yesterday and it really meant a lot to me.  His point for the service was that all we do is for Christ.  It is not about me, you, this person or that person.  It is ALL for HIM.  So, his question to us was:

The smell of fried food got to me SOOOOOOOOOOO easily! I couldn't stand it! Oh my gosh. The smells are def. the worst part in dealing with the sickness. I think I was around my 12th-18th week when I was constantly being sick at work, home everywhere! I thought that the time was just stopped. But now that I'm at my 32nd week (8 weeks to go) the time is flying by! So trust me your time will go quickly. Congrats by the way on TWINS that is SOOO exciting!!!! :) :)
