So much to be Thankful for!

I am sitting here on this beautiful Thanksgiving morning and could get quite emotional if I let myself! Here's why:

I just ate a grill cheese sandwich, I am watching the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade, clothes are washing and drying, light rolls are in the pan, I got a good night's sleep, it is warm, Bella is laying in some warm clothes just out of the dryer (mainly PJ's...they can be wrinkly!), Blair is off shooting guns with his brother,  my grandmother, Blair's mother and father are in their kitchens working hard on amazing Thanksgiving dinners (yep, we eat 3 times! ha!), I have 2 heatlhy babies growing inside me and moving enough to say 'Hey mom, we are here!', and we are surrounded by SOOOO many loving family members and lastly we ALL have a savior that DIED for each of us so we may have eternal life...so, in other words, all is well with the world at this moment.

So, why could I get emotional?  I can't help but to think of the many people who have NOTHING right now at this very moment.  They haven't eaten for days, have no clothes to wash, are freezing as they lay on the concrete street.  Some women suffer for YEARS with infertility, miscarriages or child death...and here I sit and have anything/everything I could ever want.  Why am I so lucky?  Why can't everyone have it like I have it?  I really breaks my heart to imagine the sadness that so many people feel.

But........there is one thing we cal all be happy about, and that is the last statement above about our Savior.  NOTHING in life is important but this, and you don't have to be rich, pretty, smart or lucky to have our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Anyone, anywhere can call on the Lord and he is ALWAYS there, never too busy!

So, now, how LUCKY are we all!??!!!

I want to wish everyone who might read this blog a Happy Thanksgiving...let's be thankful for what we DO have and not fret over what we don't have!  May God richly bless you this Thanksgiving Day!

"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker."   Psalm 95:1-6
